A British territory next to Saint-Martin, Anguilla is famous for its white sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Here are our favorite places to drop anchor, swim and enjoy the island.
RENDEZ-VOUS BAY
A long white sand beach with calm, clear waters facing Saint-Martin. One of the most beautiful in Anguilla, perfect for swimming.
BARNES BAY
(THE FOUR SEASONS)
On the west of the island, below the Four Seasons, a peaceful and often deserted bay. Its clear waters and rocks make it a great snorkeling spot.
MEADS BAY
A long fine-sand beach with turquoise waters, lined with beautiful hotels. An elegant, peaceful setting, ideal for swimming and relaxing.
SANDY ISLAND
A small white sand islet off Sandy Ground, surrounded by a coral reef and reachable only by sea. Turquoise waters, snorkeling and a picture-postcard setting.
CAP JULUCA
(MAUNDAYS BAY)
A sheltered crescent-shaped bay with calm waters, below the Cap Juluca hotel. A stunning view of Saint-Martin in a picture-postcard setting.
SHOAL BAY WEST
At the western tip of Anguilla, Shoal Bay West is a very peaceful white sand beach with shallow turquoise waters. Ideal for swimming, with a lovely view of Saint-Martin.
